Lighter nights - more recycling

Published Monday 22nd March 10

Lighter nights mean longer opening hours - giving us all more time to recycle!

Rotherham householders are reminded that from Thursday, April 1, the four Household Waste Recycling Centres run by the Council will begin summer opening hours.

The four centres at Car Hill, Greasbrough; Lidget Lane, Bramley; Warren Vale, Rawmarsh; and Magilla, North Anston, will stay open until 7.00 pm, seven days a week.

The centres will continue to open at 9.30 am each day, and will be open as usual throughout the Easter period.

Householders are asked to assist in recycling by sorting out their waste. Separate containers are provided at all the centres for many different types of waste.

The attendants at each centre are available to offer guidance and assistance in sorting waste into the appropriate containers for recycling.

If you require any further information about the centres or recycling please telephone the Streetpride hotline: 01709 336003. or visit our web pages
