The summer bank holiday is almost here and we’ve found the perfect scoop!

Clifton Park and Thrybergh Country Park are offering something new and exciting for your pet - frozen yoghurt.

The two parks are the perfect place to walk your dog – and the doggie treats will help to cool down your dog in the summer sun.

Rich in essential vitamins, minerals and fibre, Frozzys are the lickable snack straight from the tub, and a healthy choice for your dog. You can choose from four delicious flavours; original, cranberry, strawberry or blueberry.

Frozzys have lots of other benefits for your dog as they are lactose free, low-calorie and suitable for all dog types. They also aid teeth, help bone development and maintain energy levels.

Rotherham Council’s Cabinet Member for Neighbourhood Working and Cultural Services Cllr Taiba Yasseen said: “Our country parks and Clifton Park are open to all, so we love to see people bringing along their pets to enjoy the open spaces.

“They will love a good walk along the footpaths through our beautiful parklands and gardens. And now when you stop off for ice cream in one of our park cafes your pet doesn’t have to miss out – they can share in the fun too!”

Next time the sun is out, pay a visit to the kiosk at Clifton Park or the Tuttu Frutti café at Thrybergh Country Park and pick up your tub or two of Frozzys frozen yogurt.
