Celebrate Christmas early at Thrybergh Country Park
Published Tuesday 30th November 10
Father Christmas will be swapping his sleigh for something a little bit sportier on Sunday December 12 with a very special day of festive celebrations for all the family at Thrybergh Country Park.
Having been rescheduled because of the weather, the event will now be taking place on Sunday December 12 from 11am to 3.30pm.
Santa will be arriving to help launch the Christmas Xtravaganza in his special, reindeer-free speedboat and then spend the remainder of the day meeting lucky kids in his Grotto.
There will be a chance to create your own very special Christmas decorations and get into the festive spirit with mince pies at the lakeside café.
To get everyone well and truly in the Christmas spirit, Christmas tunes will be played and children will be able to make their very own chocolate tree decorations.
Entry into Santa's Grotto will be £2.50. Some of the Christmas decoration making events may incur a small fee.
For more information, please call the park on 01709 850353.
