Fairtrade Football

Rotherham Youth Service in partnership with Thomas Rotherham College will be organising its annual 5-a-side Fairtrade Football Event this Saturday to mark Fairtrade fortnight.

Around 15 teams are registered from across the borough from both voluntary groups and the Youth Service and will compete for the under 14s and over 14s trophies.

As well as participating in the football tournament young people can take part in various activities around Fairtrade, Comic Relief, Sexual Health and LGBT History Month.

This year Rotherham Youth Services' Integrated Youth Support Service's Advanced Apprentices and Graduates will be involved in bringing teams to the event and putting into practice their youth work training.

Trophies and medals will be presented around 4pm.
