"Spring" into fitness
Published Friday 4th March 11
Ever fancied zooming into Zumba, or sweeping into Salsa?
"Active Always", the health and fitness activity programme, aimed at people over 50, will be holding a free "Spring Fitness Open Day" on Saturday 19 March at Chislett Youth Centre in Kimberworth Park.
On offer are taster sessions of the classes available on the programme. You'll be able to try out the fantastic new Zumba class, learn Salsa and Latin dance and relax with Yoga and Tai Chi.
There will be information areas where you can talk to health professionals and learn how to make your lifestyle healthier. Alternative therapist, Katie Brumpton, will also be offering short aromatherapy and reflexology massages for when you need to have a break from your exercise.
The open day will take place between 9.45am and 1.30pm and will finish with a prize draw and a free buffet. Places are limited and must be booked by calling our administration team on 01709 822453.
If you want to find out more about the Active Always programme, have a look at the full range of activities by ordering your free brochure on 01709 822453.
