Roary the Racing Car
Published Monday 21st March 11
Get into gear this May as Roary the Racing Car and friends zoom into Rotherham on Sunday 15th May (12.30pm & 3.00pm) for their very first visit.
This brand new production of Chapman Entertainment's hit TV series, stars racing legend, Sir Stirling Moss as the narrator, and the veteran voice of motorsport, Murray Walker, will be commentating on the big race at Silver Hatch racetrack!
Murray Walker comments: "I am delighted to be part of this new stage show, Champion of Champions. It's lots of fun for all the family - anything can happen in Roary the Racing Car, and it usually does!"
Roary is all set to battle it out with Maxi, Cici, and all the other cars to win the race and lift the trophy! Farmer Green has created some brand new bio fuel to make sure the race is the fastest and greenest ever. However, Flash has his eyes on the fuel for his skateboard and big Chris seems more interested in baking pizza and eating doughnuts than preparing the cars for the race.
Luckily, Marsha Marshall is on hand to make sure everyone will be ready at the track - but who will be crowned champion? Race down to Rotherham Civic Theatre on Sunday May 15 to find out
Roary the Racing Car has taken the chequered flag since its launch in 2007 on Five's Milkshake! and Nick Jr. Not only does the hit series introduce motor sports to a pre-school audience for the first time, but through Roary's example children can learn the importance of friendship, team work, problems solving and road safety.
