Learn about the wonders of the woods

Handy Rotherham folk are being given the chance to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors this Easter half-term and learn about the wonders of natural woodcraft.
The Woodland Craft Day, set to take place at Boston Castle 11am - 2pm on Tuesday April 12, will be lead by Rotherham Borough Council Green Space's Officers and is free of charge.
The innovative event will feature demonstrations of Hazel Hurdles, Pole Lathes, Shave Horse and other traditional woodland crafts that took place in woodlands throughout the country.
