The music of some of the biggest artists from the 1950’s and 1960’s will come to life with a brand new production that provides a night of world class entertainment and nostalgia that you will never forget.
'Unforgettable' is a first class production that highlights the musical icons of this era - favourite musical legends such as Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Frankie Valley, Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, The Beach Boys, The Carpenters, The Beatles and many more .
The show will feature three superb leading artists delivering first class vocals and harmonies - the first set featuring the post war, early rock n roll music of the 1950's providing an authentic feel to the glamour era of the period and the second set moving on to include the high energy and much loved pop sounds of the 60's.
The fast moving, high impact show is packed with back to back hits and medleys featuring popular tracks taking you right back on a journey of complete nostalgia. Songs include 'Dream Dream', 'Bye Bye Love', 'Say A Little Prayer', 'Under the Moon of Love', 'Crazy', 'Close To You', 'Move Over Darling' and many, many more.
One of the stars of the show, Diana Nash, says: "I am really looking forward to being a part of this fantastic musical extravaganza of the 'Unforgettable - The hits of the 1950 & 60's' production.
"I love the music of this era, and feature some of my favourite artists - people like Nat King Cole.
"This show is really upbeat with wall to wall music and we have a great cast - the other vocalists are fantastic! We are in rehearsals for the show at the moment and it's going to be a superb show."
Unforgettable is produced by leading music management company PMG. An extensive tour for Unforgettable is currently being planned for 2012. Alongside Diana Nash, the lead cast includes Neil Couperthwaite and Kellie Schreiber and the show is backed by world class musicians.
Unforgettable will be coming to Rotherham Civic Theatre on Sunday September 28 at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £18 (£16 consessions).
