This month, the excitement is building for the start of the UEFA Women's EURO 2022 tournament in Rotherham! The best female players in Europe will join football fans from across the globe at Rotherham’s New York Stadium, for three group games and a quarter final.

The UEFA Women's EURO 2022 Festival will be held to celebrate the games - there will be three months of music, dance, theatre, art and much more across Rotherham. Find out more details about the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 Festival arts and heritage programme and the Fan Parties event schedule on the ‘What’s On Section’ on the Flux Rotherham website here

Rotherham Civic Theatre will be hosting a dramatic football-themed production The Damned United on Friday 1 & Saturday 2 July, 7.30pm as part of the Women's EURO 2022 Festival. Originally co-produced with Leeds Playhouse, The Damned United takes you inside the tortured mind of a genius, football manager Brian Clough, slamming up against his limits, and bringing to life the beauty and brutality of football, the working man’s ballet.

Also, there will be a swashbuckling family show at the Rotherham Civic Theatre with The Three Musketeers for Kids on Sunday 17 July, 2.30pm. A whirlwind of whimsy, wit, and (s)wordplay await.

Lots of fun events are taking place at Rotherham Libraries, you can join in various football-themed activities as part of the UEFA Women's EURO 2022 Festival arts and heritage programme.
