The Mayor of Rotherham, Councillor Shaun Wright, will open the event.

Starting at 6pm, the night will feature Lion Dance, a Chinese buffet, guest speakers and cultural performances and raffle prizes to be won.

Jo Mailer, Chair of Wah Hong Chinese Association said: "This event is a great opportunity for local people to learn more about the Chinese culture and customs, thus promoting community cohesion whilst enjoying good food and entertainment".

"I'm very much looking forward to being part of the night and helping to welcome an auspicious year of the Dragon".
