In Bramley and Ravenfield Ward, Councillor Lewis Mills and Councillor Greg Reynolds have committed £3,000 of their Capital Budget to help Bramley Parish Council refurbish the skatepark on Flash Lane.

After being in use for 10 years, the Skatepark needed a revamp. Lewis and Greg were delighted to help Bramley Parish Council make the improvements.

Councillor Lewis Mills, Ward Councillor for Bramley and Ravenfield Ward, said:

With the project costing over £15,000, we are more than happy to make our contribution to this much-loved community asset. We’re also happy that Bramley Parish Council are keen to work with Councillor Reynolds and I to ensure that the community benefits from all the projects we take on.

Councillor Greg Reynolds, Ward Councillor for Bramley and Ravenfield Ward, added:

Improving the environment and enhancing community facilities is one of our ward priorities. We are pleased to be able to support the refurbishment of the skatepark, which is popular amongst young people in the area.

Councillor Mills and Councillor Reynolds felt that the project to refurbish the skatepark was a worthwhile cause, because it is something that can be used by the community for years to come.
