This week sees the arrival in Rotherham of one of the “Biggest” educational, careers and gaming events ever held in this country.

The hotly anticipated Games Britannia: REPLAYED is being held on July 7 and 8 at the Magna Science Adventure Centre as part of the Rotherham Children's Festival.

The event is designed to appeal for families and casual to hard-core gamers as the vast REPLAYED arena will play host to a wide range of attractions making it stand out from other festivals and expos. Games Britannia: REPLAYED will be a completely different experience: part cultural festival, part gaming expo, part art exhibition and part educational conference.

On the Saturday, for those who have spent the last thirty years trying to become the best manager in football from the comfort of their own home, there's a chance to hear from the creator of the original Football Manager game, Kevin Toms - and Miles Jacobsen whose company now holds the rights to the franchise.

While on the Sunday, everyone will be shaken and stirred by the Nintendo 64 James Bond game, Martin Hollis and the man now re-creating Bond for games in the new century, Tony Wills.

There's a host of immersive and exciting zones for everyone including:

Tickets prices for this event are: Adult Day = £10, Child Day = £8, Family Day (2 adults and 2 children) (saving of 1 child Free) = £28
Weekend Adult (Sat & Sun) = £18, Weekend Child (Sat & Sun) = £12
Tickets to this event attract a booking fee of £1.50 per transaction, £0.50 of which will be donated by Magna Science Adventure Centre to the disabled children's charity SpecialEffect.
The tickets for this event do not include entry to Magna Science Adventure Centre visitor attraction or the outdoor playground, Sci-Tek and Aqua Tek.
