Plus, this year will see the return of the Rotherham Summer Games at Maltby Leisure Centre on Thursday August 30 and Herringthorpe Stadium on Friday August 31. Most of the events in the Mega Active brochure are at minimal cost, with many others not going above pocket money prices.
Cabinet Member for Culture and Tourism, Amy Rushforth, said: "For close to a decade the Mega Active programme of events has been filling Rotherham children's summer holidays with challenges, fun, sporting adventures and creativity".
"In this Olympic year, it's fantastic that Rotherham can offer such a broad range of activities at affordable prices to make the summer holidays so exciting. There's something new to do each day."
