Exciting activities for active kids

There’s still plenty to do this school holiday as creative kids in Rotherham are invited to search for hidden treasure and blast off to the moon!
On Tuesday August 21st, anytime between 1pm and 3pm, there will be a special Treasure Hunt for little pirates aged six to 11 years at the beautiful Coronation Park in Maltby.
The fun event see kids following a supplied map to make their way around the park to search for clues.
This is a family event and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet at the games pavilion to collect your map.
On Thursday August 23rd, kids will have the opportunity to stretch their imaginations as a Rocket Building event for kids up to 16 is held in the beautiful surrounds of Barkers Park in Kimberworth.
Taking place between 1pm and 3pm, families will be able to enjoy an afternoon making their very own rocket and launching it from our launch pad.
Amateur astronauts are asked to bring with them a two litre pop bottle to help make their rocket. All other materials will be provided.
Under eights must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at the pavilion in the park to take part.
