Are you full of ideas and want guidance and inspiration on how to put them onto paper? Want to share your creativity with like minded-people? Then “Riverside Writers” could be the thing for you.
As part of its ongoing commitment to provide a range of cultural events and activities in Rotherham, the new Library Heritage and Arts space at Riverside House will be the venue for a new creative writing group.
The first session will take place at Riverside House Library, Heritage and Art space on the September 14 at 2pm and will be supported by the regional Signposts Writing Development project.
Manager for Integrated Cultural Services Julie Hird said: "We know that there is a rich tradition of writing here in the town and hopefully the new group will enable us to showcase local talent and encourage new writers to come along and get involved.
"whether they favour poetry or story writing, we hope to be able to offer inspiration, guidance and advice that will help new writers find their niche, no matter what level they are at."
The group is aimed at adults and anyone who would like to get involved should book their place by contacting the library @Riverside on 01709 283606.
