Halloween Hunt

Little Ghouls and Banshees are being invited to the fright of their life at a spook-tacular Halloween hunt to get them in the mood for the scariest night of the year!

Are you daring enough to make your way through the spooky woods without knowing what's hiding amongst the trees?

Get dressed up in your finest, freaky costumes and join Rotherham Council's Green Spaces staff in "bloodcurdling" Barkers Park on Tuesday October 30 between 1pm and 2.30pm and use the supplied map to find your way around.

There are questions to answer and prizes to be won.

There will also be another Halloween Hunt in "horrifying" Herringthorpe Valley Park on Friday November 2 again between 1pm and 2.30pm.

Green Spaces Officer, "deadly" Donna Morton, said: "Double, double toil and trouble, two fantastically spooky Halloween events for mini-monsters aged 6 to 11 to enjoy!

"These events are always popular with families and really help to get people in the mood for trick-or-treating, but, don't forget, all children must be accompanied by an adult and booking in advance is essential.

"Collect your free answer sheets and map from the pavilions in each park and hunt down the horrible horrors that lurk within the ghoulish green spaces!

"Thank you to both the Friends of Barkers Park and Friends of Valley Park for funding the events."
