Boston Castle reopens for new seasonPublished Wednesday, 6th April 2016
Boston Castle re-opened its doors for the new season on Saturday 2 April.
The local heritage site, one of Rotherham’s oldest historical landmarks, was built in the late 1700s as a shooting lodge, and was regenerated in 2012. The Castle and grounds are now open to the public on a seasonal basis.
The Castle will be open between 11am and 3pm on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Bank Holiday Mondays between April and September.
Access is free and roof tours can be taken from £1 per person. Bookable guided tours are also available from £4 per person, with a minimum of 10 people per tour.
Rooms and all accompanying facilities within the castle will also, once again, be available to hire out to businesses and community groups who wish to use them.
