Rotherham’s Third Nail Theatre are returning this half term with another trade mark family show which is jam-packed with drama, comedy and amazing characters.

Presenting 'Danny the Champion of the World,' Third Nail Theatre bring this Roald Dahl delight to the Civic Theatre stage following in the footsteps of their previous successes penned by the amazing and inventive Roald Dahl including The BFG, James and the Giant Peach, Fantastic Mr Fox and not forgetting The Twits.

This wonderful tale tells the story of nine-year old Danny who lives in a caravan with his dad, the most marvellous, exciting dad ever. But, his father has a secret! When night falls he poaches pheasants from Hazell's Wood.

Unfortunately Mr Hazell is the biggest landowner in the district and when he catches Danny's dad, he threatens to evict them, and the battle is quickly on to save their home! But how can one little boy defeat this rich and powerful man?

Luckily, Danny has a plan - and soon he and his dad are caught up in a thrilling and remarkable adventure!
