Rotherham Council is backing a new Government programme which will help under 40s get on the housing ladder, and local people are being urged to find out more.

People can go online to register an interest in getting 20 percent off the asking price of buying a brand new home under the Starter Homes scheme.

Aspiring young homeowners can sign up online to receive the latest information on the scheme and receive updates in the future when homes become available.

The Home Builders Federation, via the New Homes website, has agreed to compile a database of people interested in receiving updates on the Government’s new Starter Homes scheme and any other relevant schemes aimed at helping people to buy a new home.
