Journey back in time to the Rock ‘n’ Roll era with The Revolvers

Rotherham residents can journey back in time to the 1950s and 1960s Rock ‘n’ Roll era in Let’s Do It Again with The Revolvers at Rotherham Civic Theatre on Friday 29 July.

This nostalgic show features the most influential and best musical period in history. It transports audiences from the birth of rock ‘n’ roll through to the demise of the Beatles.

This amazing evening includes the legendary artists and most memorable songs in one show.

Hit songs will be performed from The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Simon and Garfunkel, The Animals, The Beatles, Roy Orbison and The Monkees and many more.

Rotherham Council’s Cabinet Member for Neighbourhood Working and Cultural Services, Cllr Taiba Yasseen, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming this fantastic production to the Rotherham Civic Theatre stage. Audiences can relive the best musical hits of the 1950s and 1960s. The musicians performing in the band capture the authentic sights and sounds of the original artists.

“The theatrical production features artists who are youthful, vibrant, happy and exciting with a genuine love for the period. It’s as if you had gone back in a time machine and are experiencing the real thing!”
