Bikeability Training

CyclistThe Council offers free cycle training to the borough's primary (years 5 and 6) and secondary school pupils. We target those schools that have an active School Travel Plan which includes cycling as a means of travelling to and from school each day. The training is provided through our contracted cycle training providers, Pedal Ready.

The Council also offers training to cyclists aged over 17 who live in the borough. The training consists of a free initial two-hour training session people who want to take up cycling again but lack confidence in today's traffic conditions. The training is provided through our contracted cycle training provider, Pedal Ready.

If you wish to book the free school cycle training or the free two-hour adult training session then in the first instance please contact: admin@pedalready.co.uk or call 0114 241 2775 to discuss and arrange the cycle training.
