Making sure that children and young people across Rotherham are safe and well is something which is the responsibility of every single person who lives and works in the Borough.
The Rotherham Local Safeguarding Children Board (RLSCB) is a statutory body which aims to ensure the effectiveness of all work done to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in Rotherham.
All the members of the Board are senior managers in their agencies which include statutory, community, voluntary and faith organisations. You can view a full list of the agencies on the Rotherham Safeguarding Children Board. It has an independent chair Alan Hazell who has many years experience of working in children's services.
