How can I get help?
If you think you may need help Assessment Direct is the first point of contact for all adult social care information and advice. Here you can speak to an officer who will listen to your enquiry, advise and assist you and make sure you receive an assessment if required.
What is a care assessment? What will happen when I have a my care assessment?
A care assessment is when a social worker or social services officer talks to you, and your family or friend if you wish to have someone with you, about the kind of help that you may need and what help and support we may be able to give you.
We will normally visit you at your home to do your care assessment with you.
