Directions from the M18 J1

Leave the M18 at J1 onto the A631 (Bawtry Road) heading west towards Rotherham. Stay on the A631 until you meet the A6021 (Wickersley Road), there is a Beefeater pub on your right at this forked junction. Follow the right exit onto the A6021. Following this road will lead to a roundabout.

Take the 2nd exit continuing on the A6021. Stay on this route until you come to another roundabout, take the 2nd exit and follow this road to its end. On your right you will pass the museum. Clifton Park is also located on your right here.

At the end of the road there is a set of traffic lights and a crossroads. Go straight on at this junction. The first left after the junction with the traffic lights will take you to the entrance to the car park directly opposite the Civic Theatre. The first right after the junction with the traffic lights will take you to the car park opposite the Library and Arts Centre.

Directions from the M1 J35

Leave the M1 at J35 and follow the A629 east towards Rotherham. Stay on the A629 past 2 roundabouts (this means taking the 2nd exit at each roundabout) At the next roundabout (the 3rd you have come to) take the 2nd exit onto the A630 Centenary Way.

At the next roundabout take the fourth exit back onto the A630 but exit onto the slip road immediatley after the roundabout. At the next roundabout take your 1st exit. The Arts Centre and the nearest car park are to you left and then at the top of the hill you will find the Civic Theatre and nearest car park to your right.

Car Parking

There is ample parking until 11.30pm on the Nottingham Street car park opposite the Arts Centre and 5 minutes walk away from the Civic Theatre, and on the Percy Street car park opposite the Civic Theatre.

Local Transport to and from Rotherham Theatres

There are excellent bus and train services both to and from Rotherham town centre with all local districts very well catered for. The bus station is within 2 minutes of the Civic Theatre and just across the road from the Arts Centre.

The train station is only 5 minutes walk away from both venues. Have a look at the bus map movies for further information.
