Adult Social Care Providers and Personal Assistants

Infection Prevention and Control and PPE Training Resources

A range of resources are now available to support and train the Adult Social Care workforce with donning and doffing of PPE and Infection Prevention and Control specifically related to COVID 19.

The resources below complement a training programme being delivered by NHS Rotherham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), via zoom, which some Adult Social Care Workers and Managers have already attended.

These sessions last approx. 45 minutes and consist of a formal PowerPoint presentation on IPC and COVID 19, a donning and doffing of PPE live demonstration and the opportunity to ask questions. The number of attendees is unlimited.

Further sessions are planned and will be tailored to either Care Home or Community Care workers, the next session will be delivered on Wednesday 25th November 1pm to 2pm and future sessions will be advertised by the CCG by email. Claire Tester in the RMBC Learning and Development Team will also circulate the dates.

If you wish to know more about the training or make sure you will be notified of future dates then please contact Julie Dale (Rotherham CCG) on the following email address
