SYP Christmas Card Competition 2020

Calling all young artists! Could you design our 2020 Christmas card?

Calling all young artists! Could you design our 2020 Christmas card?

This year hasn’t been the year any of us had planned, and as we head into December we know that Christmas won’t quite be the same as usual for most people.

Despite all that we want to try to have some normality and spread a little Christmas joy, so we are once again running our Christmas card competition.

We are always so impressed with the standard of entries and thought we could all do with some Christmas cheer at the moment.

We want you to get as creative as possible, think glitter, felt tips, sequins, feathers, coloured paper, anything you want to show the police spreading some Christmas cheer.

As usual, Chief Constable Stephen Watson will choose his favourite four designs and we will ask you to choose the winner through our social media channels. The winning design will be made into our force Christmas card and shared electronically with our partners and colleagues.

The competition is open to anybody aged 12 and under, they must have parental consent to enter the competition. If you know anyone that might want to get involved, but their parents/carers/guardians do not have SYP Alerts, please let them know!

The closing date for entries is Thursday 10 December at midnight.

We won’t be able to accept entries through the post this year, but you can email your entry in. You can also send it to us on a private message through Facebook and Twitter. While you can reply to SYP Alerts, you can't attach anything to your responses so please email us entries to the email address listed on the website.

For all the competition details and a full list of terms and conditions, please visit www.southyorks.police.uk/christmas-card-competition

Good luck, we can’t wait to see the entries!
