Community Leader training

We are wanting to help create the community leaders of the future. Any age, location, skills welcome. The only thing you need is a passion for wanting to help your own community and learn more about how decisions are made and how you can make a difference

People keep our communities going

In this last year we have seen it many times over. We want to help.

In our work and home life we meet people who are passionate about where they live, and equally passionate about and their family and friends. Some of these people speak up, voice their opinion at community meetings or post a comment on social media.

Some don’t because they don’t know how to, or who they should talk to. They often don’t have the confidence, skills or knowledge on how the system works to do anything with their ideas.

But they want to help their community, they want to change things for the better and see improvements in their area.

The idea

We want to help you. If this sounds like you and you are wanting to develop your community and yourself please look at this new short online course, completely free.

We are wanting to help create the community leaders of the future. Any age, location, skills welcome. The only thing you need is a passion for wanting to help your own community and learn more about how decisions are made and how you can make a difference.

The Course

Eight 2 hour online sessions over four weeks, either during Feb or during March.

These will be fun, and informal. It’s free!

Its an engaging and factual course, a mix of how your neighbourhood works explaining how decisions are made and who the decision makers are, what is a community group and how do you join or make a new one, coupled with how to be a leader and how to speak up effectively so people listen to you.
