Eat Out to Help Out scheme is live

Eat Out Help OutScores of Rotherham restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes are taking part in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which has launched today.

The scheme aims to give a boost to the hopitality industry by providing a 50% discount on food or non-alcoholic drinks to eat or drink in (up to a maximum of £10 discount per person) at participating venues every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday starting today and running until 31st August.

Customers don't need a voucher to get the discount - it will be automatically deducted from the bill.

The venue will then claim a reimbursement from the government for the discount they’ve given to the customer.
