Early birds at Eastwood Village Primary School

Councillors Cooksey and Fenwick-Green, RMBC officers and South Yorkshire Police meet parents at morning surgery.

It was an early start on 5th December when Eastwood Village Primary School colleagues hosted a surgery for parents to raise and discuss issues as they dropped off their charges.

The availability of interpreters made the session particularly fruitful as we were able to have frank and useful discussions with Czech and Slovak speaking parents too, and hear about estate issues from their perspective. Residents were particularly pleased to hear the news about plans to improve lighting at the Pocket Park on Hatherley Road/Selborne Street.

We look forward to visiting again on 6th February.
