Support After You Leave Custody
First 10 Days After Release
Your Personal Adviser (PA) will meet you within 10 days of you leaving custody. This first meeting is to make sure you are safe, have somewhere to stay, and have the essentials you need.
Ongoing Support
Your PA can continue to help you with:
- settling into your accommodation and managing bills
- support with training, college, apprenticeships or work
- emotional wellbeing support and someone to talk to
- staying connected to people who matter to you
- keeping yourself safe and making positive choices
Probation Support
If you have Probation appointments, your PA can go with you if you want them to. With your agreement, we will also stay in contact with your Offender Manager so they understand your needs and can support you properly.
