Job Clubs and Mentoring

Job clubs and mentoring give practical, hands‑on support to help you find work, build confidence, and prepare for interviews. They bring together people who are looking for work and staff who can help with CVs, applications and job searching. You can drop in, use computers and Wi‑Fi, and get one‑to‑one help when you need it.

What to expect at a Job Club

  • Friendly drop‑in sessions where you can practise applications.
  • Access to computers and Wi‑Fi for searching and applying for jobs.
  • Help with online application forms so you can submit them correctly.
  • Guest sessions with employers who are recruiting and can explain what they want.

What mentoring looks like

  • you will be matched with someone who works in an area in which you are interested.
  • mentors give advice, guidance, and encouragement.
  • they can help you set goals, find opportunities, and stay motivated.
