Your Rights (16 to 25)
Turning 21 does not mean support ends and you have to manage everything on your own. Many care leavers need ongoing advice, encouragement, and practical help as they move through adulthood. You might be studying, working, living independently, starting a family, or facing challenges. This offer makes sure you are not alone.
By law, you have the right to ask for a Personal Advisor (PA) and a Pathway Plan at any point until you turn 25. This is your legal entitlement.
You can continue to receive support until you are 25 if you want it, and your Personal Adviser (PA) will be there to guide you. This is your choice. Some young people would like ongoing help, others only want it at certain times, and some prefer to get on independently.
Whatever you decide, we will respect your wishes.
