Opportunities To Influence Wider Services
You can help shape services and make sure your views are heard. There are simple, practical ways to get involved and see how your feedback leads to real change.
- We will ask for your views through surveys, consultations, and focus groups. When you take part, we will explain what changed because of your feedback so you can see the difference you made.
- We will always listen to your views and take them seriously. Your opinions are recorded and used to improve services.
- You can write down your wishes and feelings in your Pathway Plan and at review meetings. These notes help staff understand what matters to you and plan support that fits your goals.
- You can join the Children in Care Council or the Care Leavers Forum to share your views directly with managers and decision‑makers. These groups meet with leaders to influence how services are run and to make sure young people’s needs are understood. You can come to drop‑in sessions at The Journey or ask your Personal Advisor (PA) to connect you with the team. Contact us online to get in touch with the Voice and Influence team.
