Anti‑social Behaviour Report for Council Tenants – 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026
Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is committed to being transparent about how anti‑social behaviour (ASB) is managed across our communities. By publishing ASB data and anonymised case studies, we aim to give residents a clear picture of the issues reported, the actions we take in response, and the outcomes achieved.
The Council works closely with partners, including South Yorkshire Police, to respond to reports quickly and effectively. We aim to investigate all reports promptly, fairly, and with a focus on resolving issues that impact our neighbourhoods.
We use a full range of tools and powers to reduce ASB, while also considering any underlying causes that may be contributing to the behaviour.
This report includes data for between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026. Data will be updated regularly where required.
These figures relate to ASB reports involving Council tenants only.

How we are using this data to learn and drive improvements
We regularly review anti-social behaviour reports and case outcomes to identify trends, understand customer experience, and improve the support we provide to residents.
As a result, we have:
- Provided additional training for Area Housing Officers to help them investigate ASB reports and take appropriate action where needed.
- Introduced a new case management system to help us track cases more effectively and keep residents updated on progress.
- Reviewed how we work with partners such as the police and other agencies to improve early intervention, prevention and community-based solutions.
