Statutory Ceremony

These are held on Thursday mornings only until 31st December 2024.

How many guests can attend:

Maximum of 10 (including babies and children)

What's included:

  • Preliminary interviews
  • Basic ceremony
  • Photographer permitted for the key moments in the ceremony from a designated space
  • Reserved parking is available for two cars.

Please advise your guests that parking at Clifton Park Museum is pay and display. The parking is payable by RINGO. Please see the below link for more information.

How much does it cost?

There is a non-refundable booking fee of £39 payable to reserve your ceremony. If you change the date or time of your ceremony at any time after making your initial booking a further administration fee of £39 is payable.

The ceremony fee £57. This includes one marriage/civil partnership certificate.

Legislative Change

From 4th May 2022, following a significant change in legislation the traditional marriage register was be abolished. All couples marrying at any venue in England and Wales from the date of commencement of this new legislation are required to sign the Marriage Schedule. The General Register Office for England and Wales have prepared the following information for couples;

Marriage in a Civil or Religious Building (other than Church of England/Wales) - General Register Office
