Adoption of a House to House Collection Policy

The Council receives applications from a number of organisations each year and the Council's Licensing Board considers the issuing of permits to authorise these collections. The Council does not have to adopt a policy in relation to the application process for House to House Collection Permits, and historically has not had a policy in place. However, it is now considered that having a clear and transparent policy will assist applicants to understand the process of applying for a licence and the information required, as well as enabling more consistent decision making by the Council.
