Most service issues can be resolved quickly by reporting the problem directly to the department responsible.

Examples of this are:

  • Reporting a missed bin collection
  • Requesting a repair in your council home
  • Telling us about a pothole, streetlight fault or fly-tipping
  • Asking us to reconsider a decision or provide a service

Timescales for resolving a problem

Timescales vary depending on the service, but we always aim to:

  • Acknowledge and log your request straight away
  • Pass it to the correct service team
  • Resolve the issue as quickly as possible under our normal operational timescales
