Where and how accessed | All of the services can be accessed either on a self referral or referred in by professionals. The criteria is that the child, young person or family has to be experiencing issues presented through running away or going missing from home. Referrals will be taken for children, young people and families residing in the South Yorkshire area. |
Age range | Children and young people aged 16 years and under whilst still at school. Parent and carers of children and young people who are at risk through running away or going missing. |
Service type | Our services are universal and targeted. All referrals are triaged on a holistic basis with consideration given to which of our services are best for the referral. Consent must be gained from the child, young person or family referred. |
Opening times | Our usual working hours for the 1:1 outreach work, family support work and education and prevention work is Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm. The freephone helpline and text are 24 hours daily and the web chat is as stated on our website. |
