Victim Support responds effectively to the individual needs of victims and witnesses living in Rotherham via telephone support, home visits or office visits.
We will offer and use our experience to deliver support services with volunteers that focus on victims and witnesses.
Victims and witnesses need a powerful voice for change, based on their everyday experiences and Victim Support can offer a strong voice offering effective services and greater outreach in the Rotherham community.
Victim Support has had a presence within the borough of Rotherham for almost 40 years. Over that time, victims had received emotional support and practical help to assist them in their recovery following a crime assisting them to move forward and rebuild their lives. Victims appreciate a central office in order to have easy access to support and services, facilities by good transport links. The office also provides the opportunity to self-refer, meet in a safe environment to receive support where a home visit is not felt to be suitable or safe for the victim.
