The Domestic Abuse Strategy for 2022 – 2027 aims to assist partnerships and agencies in delivering a joined-up response to those affected by domestic abuse, underpinned by a recognition and understanding that no single agency can address this complex issue in isolation.
The aims are:
- To improve services for victims of domestic abuse and respond effectively to disclosures of domestic abuse.
- To encourage offenders to seek the assistance they need to change their behaviour and use preventative tools to support this work.
The strategy outlines six key priorities that have emerged through previous consultation and statistical analysis. Under each of these priorities we are developing an action plan.
