Join us as UPLIFT Festival returns to Rotherham Town Centre for its fifth year!
UPLIFT brings together the very best of urban sports and arts and culture for an exciting day of high-energy activity and creativity.
What to expect
The town centre will be transformed with a vibrant programme featuring dance performances, street art, activities, interactive workshops and more. Whether you want to get involved or simply enjoy the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.
Expect an action‑packed day including:
- Rotherham BMX
- Parkour with Nova City
- Roller skating with Rocking Roller
- Boxing sessions with Unity Boxing Club
- Scootering
- DJ workshops with Rotherham Music
- Giant playable retro games from Actual Arcade Reality
- Plus plenty more
The event takes place outdoors, with level, step-free access across the site. Please note that some areas may be busy and noisy, and queuing may be required for certain activities and workshops.
Inside the Goodysphere Sensory Bus, you’ll find a glowing rainforest canopy, bubble tube, sensory swing, and a range of fidget toys.
Facilities and support
- Access packs are available at the information point in Minster Gardens
- Non‑gendered and accessible portaloos will be available
- Accessoloo (portable Changing Places facility) will be located on Church Street
