Budding writers of Primary School age are being encouraged to get their creative thoughts flowing and take part in Rotherham Libraries’ writing competition.
The competition, hosted by Rotherham Libraries & Neighbourhood Hubs, and working in partnership with Children’s Capital of Culture and Wentworth Woodhouse, is a chance to discover new writers, original stories and unique voices from around Rotherham.
We want to know about the parts of Rotherham that mean the most to you. A memory, a place, a person – anything you love about your time in the town. Something you’re proud of, something unusual, something only you might have noticed.
Any genre of writing is allowed which could include:
- Poetry
- Non-fiction
- Original stories
The competition is split into three categories and is free to enter.
