Emergency help if you are homeless or a rough sleeper

If you are homeless or know someone who is, please contact us as soon as possible. Contact the Homelessness Team 24 hours a day, seven days a week on 01709 336009.

If you are calling about someone you are concerned for, you will need to be with them when you call.

Free calls can be made in Rotherham town centre using the BT InLink devices, located on Corporation Street, College Street and Howard Street.

Use the ‘Free calls’ option on the tablet or use the keypad to dial the emergency number.

Support for rough sleepers in cold weather

We are again offering accommodation to anyone who could be sleeping rough in Rotherham, in our emergency accommodation provision to escape sub-zero temperatures.

People who are sleeping rough can access this service through a referral from the Homelessness Team 24/7 by ringing 01709 336009 between 8.30 and 5pm and 07748143170 outside of these hours. If necessary arrangements will then be made for transport to the accommodation provided.
