Changes to your bin collections

Sign up for Garden Waste Collections

During September, we will write to all households with details of changes to bin collections. This will include a new bin collection calendar covering the Christmas and New Year period.

Between the 15th and 26th October:

  • You will receive your last garden waste collection from your green bin
    • On your next to last collection we will place a label on your green bin to let you know when there will only be one more collection of garden waste from that bin
  • On your last collection a sticker will be placed on your bin reminding you to start using your green bin for paper and cardboard only
  • You will receive your last blue bag collection. You can keep and re-use your blue bag however you like
  • Blue box and black bin collections remain unchanged

From 29th October:

  • We will only collect your garden waste if you pay for collections. Once you have paid you will receive a new brown bin for your garden waste
  • Blue Bag collections will stop
  • Paper and cardboard will be collected from your green bin
  • Blue box and black bin collections remain unchanged
