The Council is aiming to secure government funding to raise the energy efficiency of low rated / low income owner occupied and rented homes across Rotherham.
The Sustainable Warmth scheme can give eligible households access to funding to provide renewable heating systems and energy efficiency measures to their property. Your property must be registered as an E, F or G rated property on the EPC register, please contact us if you do not know the EPC rating of your property. Also, you must either receive a means tested benefit, or, have an annual household income of less than £30,000.
The scheme is completely free for owner occupied properties and private rented properties will be subsidised with a grant covering two-thirds of the cost of the installation of all measures if government eligibility criteria is met.
