Action Plan

Now that we have identified the known and emerging issues we need to decide how we are going to tackle them. The table below provides a starting point but must not be considered to be set in stone.

As progress is made or circumstances change, the issues that need tackling and our approach can be tailored accordingly.

Over the next 12 months we will:

  • Attend community events to develop, deliver and monitor the new Ward Plan
  • Develop Tenant engagement and support around Neighbourhood Centres
  • Support and develop community safety initiatives in response to emerging hotspots and areas of concern
  • Support and develop activities and initiatives for young people, focusing on the continuation and sustainability of single gender work with girls group
  • Support initiatives around combating social isolation and loneliness in older people
  • Explore opportunities to improve road safety in the area
  • Develop initiatives to support our most vulnerable communities
  • Work with RMBC in Public health to consider possible responses to health deprivation
