A chaperone is an adult who acts in the place of a parent whilst a child is working or performing.

Before we can issue a chaperone licence, you must have a Disclosure and Barring Service check. These additional checks mean it can take up to 12 weeks to issue a licence.

A professional chaperone licence costs £56 per application. There is no charge for a volunteer licence.
