Review of polling districts and places

The council is carrying out a review of polling districts and places in Rotherham. The review takes account of the new ward boundaries which will take effect at the elections in May 2020.

The council announced the start of the review on 4 February 2019.

Notice of polling districts and polling places review

The Returning Officer has outlined the current and proposed new polling arrangements in the borough. Electors can also suggest new or alternative polling places with reasons why these would improve access to voting in their area.

Following the review, a report will go before the council’s Cabinet meeting in the summer for a decision on any changes.
