Rotherham Show

The Rotherham Show, which attracts tens of thousands of people to Clifton Park, is one the biggest events of its kind anywhere in the country.

It has been a firm favourite in the calendar for local residents and visitors from outside of the area for many years, but despite our best efforts it hasn’t been possible to arrange this year’s show, which was due to be held in September 2020, in a way that would be safe for everyone at the moment.

We and our partners will be pursuing a series of smaller cultural events, which will include online content for people to engage with from their homes, through the course of the year as restrictions are lifted.

We know it's a difficult time for many and over the coming months we will look to create opportunities for people to safely come together, help our communities to collectively recover, support those who have lost loved ones to grieve and celebrate the contribution of our key workers and volunteers.

We very much intend this to be a one-off cancellation, and we look forward to welcoming people to the Show again in September 2021.

Visitors’ feedback from Rotherham Show 2019

5 stars! You've done a great job this year. Absolutely loved it. Please bring back Let's Circus as their show was brilliantly funny and their positive message to children - super sound. So many friendly people in Rotherham it makes me proud to be a resident here.

Really lovely family day at the show. Our favourites were the talented James Brunt, magical Grim, different bikes/go karts and horticultural tents. Such a shame no hamsters this year. Always enjoy the cars! Even more activities and stalls this year, fantastic that there were many free activities for children to enjoy making it accessible for all!

Just had a fantastic time at the show today. The circus show was excellent, can’t wait for next year!! You can’t beat Clifton Park&ellp; well done Rotherham!
