Clifton Park will come to life once again as the much‑loved Rotherham Show returns for a weekend packed with entertainment, creativity and community spirit.
The borough’s biggest free cultural festival will take place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September, transforming the park into a lively mix of performance, activity and family fun stretching across every corner of the park.
Brought to you by Rotherham Council and partners, this two-day event is a chance to celebrate everything that makes the borough special and the communities that make it thrive with thousands of visitors are expected to join the celebrations.
This year’s programme offers a rich blend of experiences including outdoor theatre, adventure play, live music, the annual horticulture show, sporting activities, circus magic, pop-up performances, spectacular displays and laugh-out-loud comedy.
For the 46th Rotherham Show, people are being invited to choose their own adventure. Attendees can pick up an adventure map from the info point and choose to explore music, sport, sensory, heritage or nature adventures taking them across the park.
The Green Field is all about celebrating horticulture, the environment and local communities, with a fun mix of circus acts, workshops, comedy, strong‑man competitions and dog shows to enjoy throughout the day.
People heading over to the Blue Field will find a vibrant mix of music, colour, food and sport, with Get moving in the Moving Rotherham zone and a stunning Luminarium experience, as well as the opportunity to take a break at the main stage to enjoy live performances. One of this year's highlights is Timisien by Architects of Air, an extraordinary walk-through luminarium where visitors can explore soaring domes and glowing labyrinths illuminated entirely by natural daylight.
In 2025, Rotherham marked a milestone as the world’s first Children’s Capital of Culture. On the Yellow Field, the Council is proud to continue that legacy by offering creative opportunities for young people, alongside entertainment and hands-on workshops for families to enjoy.
Alongside all of this there will be plenty of food and drink outlets with offerings from around the world and a covered seating area for those wishing to rest between performances and activities.

The Rotherham Show is free to attend, with gates open from 11am to 5pm on both days.
